Friends for Life Program
The Friends for Life program aims to reduce the incidence of anxiety and depression, emotional distress and impairment in social functioning by teaching children how to cope with and manage anxiety now and later in life. FRIENDS build resiliency skills and increases mental health literacy and awareness of anxiety prevention strategies for children, parents and educators. This program is being offered in partnership with the Fort McMurray Public School District and it is available to all grades 4-6 students in the Public Elementary Schools.
