6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
17B - 10019 MacDonald Ave
Fort McMurray, Alberta
We all talk about stress, but we are not always clear about what it is. This is because stress can come from both the positive and negative things that happen to us, and it can have both a positive and negative impact on our lives. Stress becomes a problem when we are not sure how to handle an event or situation, then worry sets in and we feel “stressed.” Our reactions to stress can affect both our mental and physical health, so it is important to learn how to recognize stressors and deal with them effectively as they occur.
This 4-week stress workshop has been designed to provide some insight into the factors that affect an individual’s level of stress. The coping strategies discussed provide the skills to combat and decrease the impact that these sources of stress can have, in order for each individual to achieve balance, satisfaction and success. Our facilitators will discuss the concept of stress and help participants develop coping strategies to deal with the stress in their lives.
Dates: Wednesday evenings 6:30-9:30 pm
May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 2016
