Local artist Russell Thomas has become widely known for his wild colour portraits and his live paintings at various community events. He has also done workshops with hundreds of residents, in small and large groups, painting experiences that are relaxing, meditative, and surprising. People with absolutely no artistic experience have discovered creative instincts and a love for colour that has resulted in fabulous, one-of-a-kind creations. Discover your inner artist and gift yourself with an evening of painting. You’ll learn about Russell’s process, the power of trust, and wonder of following your creative instincts.
A big part of mental wellbeing is to take time to do things that are fun, relaxing and social. This evening of painting will accomplish all three. Working on a creative project surrounded by friends and neighbours, you will enjoy a mix of silence and conversation. Participants often leave these workshops feeling recharged, more grounded, and surprised by the quality of the experience. This is self-care through a creative group experience. Absolutely no experience is required. All participants must be 18+
Space is limited. Purchase your $23 ticket on Eventbrite to reserve your spot.
